Our Funders & Their Expectations

Manline is a charitable organisation, providing low-cost services through the generous support of our funders, including:

  • Lotteries Grants Board

  • Palmerston North City Council

  • Ministry of Social Development

  • Oranga Tamariki

  • Ministry of Justice

  • Department of Corrections (contracting us for Stopping Violence Programs)

As part of their commitment to funding effective services, our funders require feedback from clients. From time to time, we may ask you to complete a confidential survey to help us improve our services and demonstrate the impact of our work.

Privacy Statement

We take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. Your information is only shared with your lawyer or other parties with your written consent, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Manline follows strict privacy policies to protect your personal information and only collects what is necessary to support you. In the event of a privacy breach, we will inform you and, in serious cases, notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Complaints Process

You have the right to receive competent and professional counselling services. At your first session, we will explain our complaints process. Information from the Health and Disability Commission is available in our waiting area, and details of the complaints procedure can also be found in our counselling rooms.
